Proctoring Center

The proctoring center is located at the Dandini Campus, Red Mountain Building, room 204 and is only open from the seventh week of the semester to the last day of the semester. Days and times will vary per semester. View our current schedule PDF icon .

Exams to be Proctored

The types of exams that will be proctored by the proctoring center at this time are:

  1. Exams for online courses in order to meet student verification purposes.
  2. The occasional makeup exam needed for a student taking an in-class course who was absent when the in-class exam/test was administered.

Required Form

Faculty will need to complete a Request for Test Proctoring PDF icon for ALL exams to be given. Faculty need to submit the "hard copy" form and all exams to Barbie Wright in RDMT 315 (telephone: 775-674-7977). This office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. If this is for an ALEKS math test, you may fax the request form to 775-673-8209. Please DO NOT take your forms/exams to RDMT 204.

How to Schedule Appointments

Students will need to schedule an appointment online with the proctoring center. If you have never scheduled an appointment before, please register first. Students must schedule their appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Students will receive an email confirmation of their appointment and a reminder email 24 hours in advance of their appointment. Students must be on time or will possibly forfeit their time slot. Students may make appointments lasting up to two hours. Students will need to know their teacher's name and class they are in, every box of the form must be filled in to submit their appointment.
