Programmer
Carl is an applications services programmer. He started his career at Lockheed Missiles and Space working in the "Blue Cube" in Sunnyvale. He continued in that system moving from company to company, location to location and job to job until settling as a software test engineer. During that time he started to develop programming skills, creating test environments for various applications and systems. These were all very large systems for various DOD agencies written primarily in Fortran and ADA. He left this field to open a computer store that struggled to keep its doors open for five years. During that time Carl worked with many small businesses installing and maintaining network systems and computers. He continued to develop his programming skills writing various business applications. He turned the computer business over to the employees and moved back into the "real world" working for a wage and subsequently accepted a position at TMCC as a full-time programmer in 2003.

Database Manager and Programmer
Bill took his first programming class in high school using an acoustic modem and punched paper tape on an IBM Teletype machine. After serving in the United States Marine Corps he went to school studying electronics and was soon tempted by software development. After six years working on computer hardware at Allen Testproducts, he transferred internally to writing software. Bill found that at the heart of 90 percent of all software was a database. So, for the last 17 years he has been administering and programming database software for just about any platform from the IBM System 38 to our current Windows 2003 servers. Bill started at TMCC in 2001 in the information technology services department and is currently our Data Base Administrator.
