Welding

Based on the American Welding Society certification standards the TMCC welding technology program prepares workers for a diversity of occupations from construction to manufacturing. Our large welding lab utilizes modern equipment in over 50 welding booths to train you in acetylene welding and cutting, arc welding, MIG/TIG and stick welding and plasma arc cutting. The one-year certificate of achievement in welding technology provides the training for entry-level employment and light duty welding, while our two-year associate of applied science degree with a welding emphasis leads to full AWS certification demanded by commercial and industrial contractors.

At TMCC, learning is a hands-on activity.
