TMCC offers Accelerated Programs that are developed in partnership with regional employers to meet their hiring needs. These programs are all delivered in a non-traditional format which allows students to earn credentials in about half the time if they were attending in a traditional format.
This program is designed to prepare students for entry level employment as a Production Technician. Students will learn and work with automated processes (including robotic work cells), mechanical equipment, quality systems (including some Lean concepts), fluid power, and safety. Students will be offered an opportunity to test for the MSSC Certified Production Technician nationally recognized credential.
This program is designed to prepare students for entry level employment as a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator. Topics include: basic competency with common machine tools and accessories, introductory CNC, metric conversion, blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerances, shop math and inspection & quality control techniques.
This program is delivered in a non-traditional format and is designed to prepare students for entry level employment in the field of welding. This program includes Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), but will focus on Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) processes. Participants prepare for and will be given the opportunity to test for American Welding Society (AWS) certifications.
This Fast-Track Certificate provides design and technical skills in the creation, development and production of static and dynamic content for use on the Internet. This program will be delivered in an accelerated format (25 weeks of instruction) using a blend of online and classroom instruction. Classes will meet one day per week and course content is taught using an integrated, project-based curriculum.
