Cultural diversity stresses inclusions and focuses on local and global cultural issues. TMCC's goal is to certify that students receive the skills to recognize the importance of America's collective past, present and future and to help the students with their co-workers achieve greater mutual understanding and respect.

Each student completing the diversity certificate will be able to help their respective company obtain a successful, productive multicultural workforce so their business can benefit in an increasingly international marketplace.

The certificate is geared toward students who recognize the relevance of diversity skills to complement their chosen field of study, applied anthropology or related fields such as human resources, education, business, and other fields that might benefit from increasing their awareness of cultural diversity in the workforce and in the marketplace.
