Transferring to a Nevada Four-Year College or University

Associate of arts and associate of science transfer degrees at TMCC are not aligned with the 16 national clusters. The reason: These are broad degrees students complete for purposes of pursuing bachelor programs.

For example, TMCC students who plan to achieve a bachelor of arts or science at the University of Nevada, Reno follow a transfer agreement, which aligns general education requirements between the two institutions. Essentially, the completion of a 60 credit UNR transfer agreement may result in an associate of arts or science degree at TMCC upon applying for graduation.
