Steps to Enroll for New Students
We are excited that you are interested in pursuing your higher education at TMCC!
The TMCC Steps to Enroll were developed to ensure your academic success as you progress through your program. If you're a new student and plan to earn a degree at TMCC, you must complete the required enrollment steps before you can register for classes. When you complete step four (4) at a New Student Orientation and Academic Advisement Workshop, the hold on your account will be removed and you will be able to register for classes.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Required Enrollment Steps (RES)
If you are a new, degree-seeking student without credits to transfer in to TMCC from another institution, steps three and four are required. If you are a new, degree-seeking student wishing to transfer credits completed at another institution, please see steps to enroll for transfer students.
Take TMCC's ACCUPLACER Placement Test to determine which courses are right for you. If you have any questions about the test and testing times, visit the testing center or contact the testing center office.
Ensure a smooth transition into your first semester by attending a New Student Orientation and Academic Advisement Workshop. During your workshop, you will learn about student success strategies, support services, general education requirements, appropriate class placement based on your ACCUPLACER scores, and how to meet your academic goals. All students that live within driving distance of TMCC (50 mile radius) must attend a workshop. Workshops are about three hours long and have limited enrollment. Schedule a workshop today! If you have any questions, contact the orientation office.
TMCC registration may be completed through MyTMCC. Using your username and password you can log in to MyTMCC and register for your classes. If you need assistance with registration, username and passwords, visit the online self-service tools or the TMCC Online Student Support Center.
Remember to pay for your classes and fees prior to the payment deadline. To pay for classes, visit MyTMCC. View payment options or if you have any questions, contact the controller's office.
Congratulations! You're ready to begin classes.
