Steps to Enroll for New Degree-Seeking Students
We are excited that you are interested in pursuing your higher education at TMCC!
The Steps to Enroll for new degree-seeking students were developed to ensure your academic success as you progress through your program of study at TMCC. If this is your first time in college and you plan to earn a degree at TMCC, you must complete these steps before you can register for classes. Apply for Admission
Complete a TMCC application for admission online and view important dates and deadlines. If you have questions, please contact the admissions and records office .

Apply for Financial Aid
Get help with your college expenses by completing the online FAFSA by July 1 for fall, December 1 for spring or April 1 for summer. If you have any questions or need help please contact the financial aid office.
Note: This step is a recommendation not a requirement. Please note in order to complete the FAFSA you must be a U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien.

Take a Placement Test
New students have three options for placement testing: ACCUPLACER, ACT or SAT. Scores must be less than two years old. You can submit official copies of your ACT and/or SAT scores to the Admissions and Records office. TMCC offers students who have not taken the ACT or SAT the option to take the ACCUPLACER placement test. If you have any questions about the ACCUPLACER test please contact testing services.

Attend New Student Workshop
All students who live within driving distance of TMCC (50 mile radius) must attend a New Student Workshop. The New Student Workshop includes academic advisement and assistance with creating an academic planner. Workshops are about two hours long and have limited enrollment. Schedule a New Student Workshop today! If you have any questions, contact the orientation office.

Register for Class
TMCC registration may be completed through MyTMCC. Using your username and password you can log in to MyTMCC and register for your classes. If you need assistance with registration, username and passwords, visit the online self-service tools or the TMCC Online Student Support Center.
