Do you need help preparing for the INS interview? TMCC offers classes to prepare permanent residents for the interview, which is required for United States citizenship and naturalization. Staff members will help you prepare the application (form N-400) and cover various applicable topics:
- U.S. history
- Government
- U.S. flag
- The presidency
- Responsible Citizenship
A strong command of English is required for this course.

If you wish to apply for citizenship and need to improve your reading and writing skills, TMCC's English Literacy/Civics class is designed especially for you. English Literacy/Civics classes help students acquire these skills and gain a foundation in various topics, including:
